Unilin Insulation welcomes new Technical Specification Manager

We’re pleased to welcome Philip Robinson to the Unilin Insulation Technical Team, taking up the role of Technical Specification Manager.

Philip brings six years of experience in the construction and insulation industry, and now supports customers across the Central North of England, helping architects, developers and technical managers get their insulation specifications right from the outset.

Working closely with these project teams, Philip’s role centres on delivering compliant insulation specifications that meet current building regulations. Whether it’s advising on the right product build-up for a particular application or helping resolve a technical query at design stage, his focus is on giving specifiers the confidence and clarity they need to move projects forward smoothly.

Beyond his day-to-day work with customers, Philip is also involved in Unilin Insulation’s Discovery Hub initiative, engaging with Universities and Architectural Technology students to help build the knowledge and skills of the next generation of construction professionals. It’s a role he’s particularly passionate about, sharing practical, real-world insight with students who will soon be shaping the specifications of tomorrow.

Philip’s arrival strengthens Unilin Insulation’s technical support offering across the Central North of England, giving architects and specifiers in the region direct access to knowledgeable, hands-on technical guidance throughout the design and specification process.
