Unilin Insulation welcomes new Technical Specification Manager

We’re pleased to welcome Richard Gay to the Unilin Insulation Technical Team, taking up the role of Technical Specification Manager.

Richard brings an impressive 40 years of experience in the insulation industry, joining Unilin Insulation this year with a wealth of technical knowledge built up over four decades in the sector.

Richard works closely with specifiers, architects and technical managers, helping them achieve building regulations compliance across their projects. He is also qualified in producing U-value calculations and condensation risk analysis (CRA), giving customers access to detailed, technically robust support at every stage of the specification process.

Beyond his day-to-day work with customers, Richard is also involved in Unilin Insulation’s Discovery Hub initiative, supporting local universities and Architectural Technology students as they develop the skills and knowledge to become the next generation of construction professionals.

Richard’s arrival further strengthens Unilin Insulation’s technical support offering, giving specifiers and architects direct access to decades of hands-on industry experience throughout the design and specification process.
