CIAT Northern Ireland CPD Event

Xtratherm were the main sponsors of the recently held CIAT Northern Ireland (Region 15) CPD seminar on the upcoming changes to the NI Building Regulations at Belfast’s brand new Metropolitan Arts Centre (MAC).

The event was oversubscribed with over 70 members and guests in attendance. Mr Eddie Weir MCIAT (Region 15 CPD officer) compered the evening as Danny Kearney (Xtratherm Group Technical Manager) gave a detailed presentation on the specific changes to “Part F – Conservation of Fuel and Power in Buildings, October 2012” Mr Eddie Weir commented that “This was an extremely informative CPD event and was well received by all who attended”.

Mr Mike Christie (senior building control officer from Belfast City Council) also gave a concise presentation on the further changes to the Building Regulations.
